Our OPen University Research Project!

Discover our work with Professor Teresa Cremin of The Open University, and pioneer of research into the power of Reading for Pleasure. Prof. Cremin and her team think What On Earth! Magazine can help your students, and in particular the less enthusiastic readers, engage and read through choice.

Read about our recently completed Phase 1 study that was centred in Hackney, London, and discover our phase 2 of the study where more than 6OO children will be observed by the OU team as they engage with the magazine during the autumn term.

There are so many ways to encourage students to develop a love of reading and learning using What on Earth! Magazine. Try out our free resources on your students and see for yourself! Look out for the brand new monthly curriculum referenced challenges and activities starting in September (NB You will need your School’s Club password that was on your welcome email to access these resources.
